VMFA Artmobile Coming To VMI

Virginia Military Institute is partnering with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond, to bring its stateof- the-art Artmobile, “VMFA on the Road” to post April 25 to April 27. The new exhibition, “Love, Laughter, Tears: An Artist’s Guide to Emotions,” features art from VMFA’s permanent collection by artists such as Kiyoshi Saito, Stephen Shames, Gabriel Sunday Tenabe, Nell Blane, and others. This compilation of paintings, prints, photographs, and film, from a range of cultures and time periods, illustrates the universality of human emotions. The artmobile is free and open to the public during the following hours: Thursday, April 25, 2:45-3:30 p.m.; Friday, April 26, 2:30-3:30 p.m.; and Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. It will be parked in front of Preston Library on Letcher Avenue.
