Monday, Feb. 18 -- The Parry McCluer High School girls basketball team defeated Auburn 74-32 in the quarterfinals of the Region 1C tournament in Buena Vista.
Monday, Feb. 18 – Because of this predicted winter storm for the middle of this week, the Class 1 and 2 state indoor track and field meet that Parry McCluer High School was scheduled to compete in this Wednesday and Thursday has been postponed until next Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 25-26.

Thursday, Feb. 14 – Making clutch free throws and defensive stops in the final stretch, the Parry McCluer High School boys basketball team defeated Covington 45-39 in overtime to win the Pioneer District championship on Thursday night in Buena Vista.
Thursday, Feb. 14 – Parry McCluer High School swimmer Kensey May completed an outstanding freshman season by placing 18th in the preliminaries of the girls' 100-yard freestyle at the Class 1 and 2 state meet on Thursday morning at the SwimRVA Collegiate School Aquatics Center in Richmond.
