Donations Being Accepted Now For 'Catapalooza'

Cats Unlimited is seeking donations to be sold at its 13th annual “Catapalooza” yard sale on Friday and Saturday, July 14-15 at the Washington and Lee pavilion off U.S. 60 west of Lexington.

Most all types of items will be accepted, with exception of computers, printers and TVs.  It is requested that donations be clean and in working condition. Also, no clothing will be accepted, unless it is cat-related.

To donate items, or for questions regarding exactly what will be needed or accepted, contact Cats Unlimited by voice mail at 458-2287, cell phone at (540) 319-8036, or e-mail at help@catsunlimited.org.

Cats Unlimited is a small nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and nonlethal control of stray and abandoned cats in Rockbridge County and the cities of Buena Vista and Lexington.  All proceeds from the sale will be utilized to finance its popular low-cost spay/neuter program; and to provide food, shelter, spay/neuter surgeries, and other medical necessities for the cats in their adoption program, as well as for the cats they personally care for in the community.
