Edith Hope (Jones) Farrow, 88, wife of William Kenneth “Ken” Farrow, of Staunton passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her residence.

Hope was born on April 9, 1929, in Galax, a daughter of the late John Lemual and Mary Frances (Frost) Jones.

Hope was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, retired as a hairdresser in Lexington and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her family and always enjoyed telling stories about them and their everyday lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 63 years is a son, Kenneth Douglas “Doug” Farrow and his wife Patsy of Staunton; a brother, Clayton Jones of Galax; two grandchildren, Brandon Farrow and his wife Jessica and Scott Farrow; a great-grandson, Karson; and a step-great-granddaughter, Hunter.

A graveside service was conducted Monday, April 9, in the Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Don McClure.

For those desiring to make memorial contributions, the family suggests the Parkinson Disease Association, 4560 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
