MOAA Plans Sporting Clays Tournament May 6
The George C. Marshall Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will host its annual sporting clays tournament at the Quail Ridge Sporting Clays facility, 336 Murat Road in Lexington, on Saturday, May 6. All net proceeds will support the Virginia Veteran and Family Support program and special service projects and scholarships for veterans and their families.
The registration fee is $90 per participant and includes a full barbecue lunch. The field will be limited to 75 shooters and the event will consist of 15 shooting stations and 100 targets. Prizes will be awarded. All interested in participating are encouraged to pre-register; email Adrian Gordon at email@example.com or Ross Schmoll at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sign-in/registration begins at 9 a.m. and shooting begins promptly at 10.
Sponsorship opportunities for the event are also available. Sponsors will be publicly acknowledged with signs including their business name/logo posted at the shooting stations as well as event and local media coverage. Cost for a station sponsor sign is $50. Sponsors can make checks out to MOAA, George C. Marshall Chapter and mail to MOAA, GCMC, P.O. Box 1308, Lexington VA 24450. MOAA (GCMC) is a 501 c (19) organization and sponsors will receive donor acknowledgements.
