Police Investigating Beer Theft

Thursday -Lexington police are seeking information about a beer theft at Sheetz early this morning.

According to a police Facebook posting, a white male entered the convenience store and was noticed by store employees picking up a 30-can pack of Busch beer and walking toward the exit without paying. When confronted by store employees, he hurriedly left the store and entered what appearsed to be a red or maroon sport utility vehicle being driven by an unidentified person. The vehicle then sped from the parking lot.

The Lexington Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this person of interest.
