Run Of The Mill 5K Set For April 13

Monday, March 4 – The second annual Run of the Mill 5K will take place on Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m., starting in Brownsburg and ending in Raphine. The race benefits the Brownsburg Community Association’s local scholarship fund and community projects.

The 5K is a point-to-point race on a slightly hilly terrain through farmland, starting at Asbury United Methodist Church in Brownsburg crossing Hays Creek several times before finishing at Wade’s Mill in Raphine. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m.  A shuttle bus will return runners to Brownsburg from Wade’s Mill.

Awards and activities will take place at the finish line. The top three female and male finishers receive prizes. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals.

Preregistration, which goes until March 31, is $21 and includes an iconic “Run of the Mill” t-shirt. To register online, go to https://www.wadesmill.com/product-category/2019-run-of-the-mill-5k. Race day registration is $25.
