James "Jimmy" William Carter of Meadview, Ariz., passed away peacefully March 24, 2017.
Jimmy was born Oct. 19, 1942, to Estile Thurman and Lennie Dora Carter. He was raised in Lexington and later served in the United States Army.

Elsie Lee Davidson Floyd, 86, of Buena Vista, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017.
Born in Buena Vista on Sept. 6, 1930, Elsie Lee lived here all here life with the exception of two years spent in France while her husband was stationed at Orly Air Force Base.
Gregory Kent Buzzard, 42, of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 29, 1974, in Rockbridge County to the late Alan Ray Buzzard and Martha Keyes Duff. Greg’s stepfather, Wayne Lee Duff survives him.
