After leading the W&L women’s indoor track and field team to the ODAC title on March 2 at Roanoke College, head coach Dana Freeman was named the ODAC coach of the year last week.
Freeman, in her 12th year of coaching the Generals, became the first female head coach to win an ODAC women’s track and field title.
After competing in the South Region and Tufts Final qualifiers on Saturday, the Generals were waiting to see who would qualify for the NCAA Division III national championships, which are scheduled to take place in Rochester, N.Y., on Friday and Saturday.
