Russian readings (with English subtitles) from the works of Ukrainian journalist and blogger Anna Gin will be presented by language students from the East European and Russian Studies Program at Washington and Lee University’s Stackhouse Theater this Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. The program is entitled “Anna Gin’s Diaries: Flowers from Ukraine the Unbroken.” Gin has remained in Kharkiv, Ukraine, throughout all three years of the Russian-Ukrainian war, enduring relentless shelling by the Russian army. She will Zoom from Ukraine to answer questions about her readings and interact with the audience and language students.
