With warmer temps, trees, bushes and flowers are coming alive. A number of groups are seen cleaning up trash along our roads and streets. It’s springtime at last. With all the beauty bursting forth, there is the pollen, allergies, and soon the sound of lawnmowers as the grass is growing taller each day. Happy spring, everyone.
It’s also time for warmer weather events like spring festivals, music events and the Glasgow’s Farmers Market Spring Vendor Event scheduled for Saturday, May 3. The set-up fee is $15. Applications can be obtained at Town Hall and turned in there with your payment, attention Carolyn, market manager. We have several vendors already signed up. The Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department will be providing food for the event.
The regular market season will begin the second weekend in May. A vendor meeting will be held in April, exact date to be announced.
