Five Parry McCluer High School boys basketball players were awarded all-district honors last week.
Senior forward John Snider and junior guard Evan Cook were named to the all-district first team, while junior guard Landon Catlett was selected to the all-district second team. Sophomore guard Braedyn Houck and freshman forward Nathan Glass were named all-district honorable mention.
Under the direction of first-year head coach Tyler Kerr, the Fighting Blues bounced back from a 2-5 start to the season to go 17-10 overall and 10-2 in the Pioneer District to finish second in the district. The Blues concluded their season with a 75-48 loss to George Wythe in the Region 1C semifinals.
All-district honors for the PM girls will be awarded after all Pioneer District teams are done with their season.
