The RCHS Student Art Show opened on March 3 to showcase student art work. The art show is being held at Earth, Fire, and Spirit Gallery in downtown Lexington until the end of March.

The RCHS Student Art Show opened on March 3 to showcase student art work. The art show is being held at Earth, Fire, and Spirit Gallery in downtown Lexington until the end of March.

The theater department will be opening its version of the musical “Chicago: Teen Edition” from March 23 through March 25 in the RCHS auditorium. Each show will begin at 7 p.m., and tickets will be $8 at the door, and children 5 and under enter for free.

On Feb. 22, RCHS held a job fair in which junior and senior students had the opportunity to talk to local businesses for job opportunities. A total of 46 businesses and employers came to the event, and handed out job applications and fliers to interested students.

Mountain Gateway Community College is offering “Roadrunner Day” for RCHS juniors and seniors. Students have the opportunity to visit MGCC’s campus, as well as learn about degrees, scholarships, certificates, and more. The event will be held on April 18, and permission slips are available in the counseling office.

Sign-ups for summer school PE 9, PE 10/Drivers Ed, Economics & Personal Finance, and Economics & Personal Finance Dual Enrollment have opened up for the 2023 summer. Enrollment forms are available in the counseling office for interested students.
