The University Orchestra will feature Washington and Lee University senior Taylor Colaizzi, winner of the 2022-23 Concerto-Aria Contest, during its next concert on March 23 at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall.
Taylor will be performing the first movement of Weber’s Second Clarinet Concerto. Also featured will be the music of Josef Suk conducted by Duncan Hart ’24, Taylor Colaizzi ’23 and Michael McLaughlin ’23.
The concert will be rounded out by the Virginia premiere of Katahj Copley’s “Equinox” and a performance of Bizet’s L’Arlessienne Suite No. 2.
