There will be a Good Friday service at 6 p.m. Friday, April 7. Easter sunrise service will take place on Hotinger Hill (off of Fredricksburg Road) at 7. A breakfast will follow at New Monmouth. Any breakfast dish contributions welcome! Easter egg hunt is at 9:45 on Easter Sunday and worship service is at 11 a.m. with full choir.
Kerrs Creek Ruritan Club met at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church on Feb. 21. John Burleson installed Gary Swink as our 2023 president.
Janet Drake announced our Ruritan of the Year for 2022, Wayne Spencer. He spent many hours hauling our chuckwagon to and from events and working in the chuckwagon.
Budget and objectives were approved for the year.
