March 13, 2023 Editor, The News-Gazette: First, a little history. Early last year, both houses of Congress controlled by the Democratic Party marching in lockstep behind a Democratic president, earmarked $40 billion to help Ukraine push back Russian soldiers still living under a collectivist dictatorship crafted by the Bolshevik-Soviets about a hundred years ago.

Late last year, Putin threatened to “go nuclear,” until almost every country in the world, even North Korea and Iran, laughed him off as a crack-pot.

Any threats of nuclear war are primarily psychological warfare designed by many different interest groups to manipulate other interest groups. The vast majority of nuclear weapons are neutron bombs which kill troops on the battlefield while leaving “property” undamaged. Neutron bombs are explained on Google.

The strategy of the Western Alliance which includes most nations of the world, either as signatories or “hangers-on,” is to bleed Putin so he has to keep sending in more troops and war material until he just goes crazy like we did in Vietnam. NATO and friends love this strategy because it does irreparable damage to the combat strength of the Russian military machine. Russia’s huge losses of manpower, machines and money hollows out future threats Putin might make toward the Free World.

NATO and other countries handing over lots of material support to Ukraine helps save the country for Ukrainians without risking NATO warriors dying for somebody else’s war. This strategy is known as the (General George) Patton Plan. You don’t get sucked into other people’s war to, “... die for your country ... you make that other poor, dumb sonofabitch die for his.”
