PAT RAMSEY JR.

Pat Edward Ramsey Jr., 80, of Amherst passed peacefully on March 11, 2023.

He was born on April 16, 1942, to Pat and Lucille Ramsey of Buena Vista.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert, Danny and David Ramsey; his stepdaughter and husband, Patricia and Samuel Campbell; his two daughters, Patricia Ramsey and Melissa Adkins; and two grandchildren, Cameron Evans and Rachel Adkins.

He was preceded in death by both parents and by his wife, Martha Ann Ramsey.

He was well-known for his fun-loving personality and his portrayal of Santa Claus, opening their home for over 25 years to children of all ages. Besides his love of Ann’s cooking, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with her seated right behind him. He was a member of Oronoco Church of the Brethren, living his life in faith.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, at Oronoco Church of the Brethren. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the service to follow at 11, conducted by the Rev. Arnold Bradley.
