THOMAS WHITTEN

Thomas Massie Whitten, 59, of Fairfield died Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home.

Born Aug. 7, 1963, in Fairfield, he was a son of Leroy Whitten and Ruby Fitzgerald.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaci Leigh Whitten, and special cannine friend Zeb.

Thomas was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Kay Whitten; children, Thomas Matthew Whitten (Brandy), and Melissa Lowery (Keith); siblings, Trudy Cash, Timothy Whitten, Donnie Whitten and Ronnie Whitten; uncle, Phil Fitzgerald; two grandsons, Logan Whitten and Landon Fretwell; best friend, Randy Bilbeisi; and his cat Snoopy.

No service will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield Rescue Squad, 5585 N. Lee Hwy, Fairfield, VA 24435.
