Esther Pennington, 540-291-2629 The High Bridge Presbyterian Church drive-thru Christmas Nativity was held Sunday, Dec. 10, with pleasant weather. The deacons collected items and food for the Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry. The Christmas Eve service was held on a very cold evening with lots of visitors and family members attending.

Some of the family members home for Christmas were Steve and Lynn Braford from California visiting his mother, Peg Braford; Bob and Kathy Gilbert’s family from Colorado; Luke and Sarah Lobos of Baltimore, Md., visiting Dane and Sheryl West; Lloyd and Esther Pennington’s family from West Virginia and Florida; and Sammy and Tish Vest’s family from out of town. Lee and Bill Braford visited their family in Richmond.

We had reports of members with power outages and frozen water pipes.

The Natural Bridge Ruritan Club elected and installed officers at its Christmas meeting held at Beth Horan United Methodist Church. Installed were Robert Gilbert, president; Drake Breeden, vice president; Wayne Breeden, treasurer; Debbie Dangerfield, twoyear director; and Garnette Teass, secretary.

The Natural Bridge/ Glasgow Food Pantry will be open Saturday, Jan. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m.
