Wednesday, March 22 -- The Rockbridge County High School girls soccer team earned a 1-0 road win over Fort Defiance for its first victory of the season on Tuesday night.
With the nondistrict victory, the Wildcats (1-2) avenged a 1-0 overtime home loss to Fort in their season opener on Thursday.
The Wildcats will continue nondistrict play at James River on Friday, starting with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m.
