Kenneth Frazier Moore, 84, of Lexington died Monday, April 3, 2023, at Shenandoah Valley Health and Rehab in Buena Vista.

 

Kenneth Frazier Moore, 84, of Lexington died Monday, April 3, 2023, at Shenandoah Valley Health and Rehab in Buena Vista.

Born Oct. 27, 1938, in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Johnny Frazier Moore and Maggie Beatrice Vest.

Kenneth was a member of Faith Mountain Baptist Church in Lexington.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Frances Loretta Moore; three sons, Skipper Moore (Deborah), Greg Moore (Missy) and Robbie Moore(Molly Kay); grandchildren, Meagan Akers(Michael), Adam Moore(Megan), Christopher Moore, Jacob Moore, Maggie Moore, Curtis Moore, Addie Moore and Emma Moore; great-grandchildren, Raegan Moore, Tensley Moore, Oaklynn Moore and Wesley Akers; sisters, Ruth Chittum, and Lorene Hostetter; special niece Carolyn Gutierrez(Dave); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. William Thomas and Dorsey Hostetter. Interment will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
