The first is a drive-thru rabies clinic on April 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the squad building, at 710 McCulloch St. This service is provided by Natural Bridge Animal Hospital. The cost is $10, cash only and will be donated to the Glasgow First Aid. They also ask that you consider making a donation for the NBAH Angel Fund. The clinic is for dogs and cats. The second fundraiser, a cakewalk, will take place the same day, April 22, at 6 p.m. at the squad building. Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be available for sale. Cakes are needed and appreciated. Call (540) 460-3352 for more information.
The Craft and Bakers event is almost here. It will take place at the Glasgow Farmers’ Market Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bizzee B’s BBQ will be selling food for your dining pleasure. Vendors include Cindy’s Wreaths, Sweet Confections Home Bakery, Valley Pig Poppers, The Bakers’ Rack LLC, Terri Robertson (knit and crochet items), The Potter’s Hand (ceramics), Harry’s Windchimes plus bracelets and key chains, Tina Hodges (crochet items), Carolyn with bowl cozies, microwave cooking bags, and other items, also Lynda Miller and Brandi Duncan.
