On March 23-25, the RCHS theater department put on “Chicago: Teen Edition” in the school’s auditorium. Throughout all three shows, a total of 683 tickets were sold. Scheduled for April 29, the annual lip sync battle hosted by the National Honor Society and Executive Student Council will be held at RCHS. All proceeds from the event will be donated towards the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to benefit research for Cystic Fibrosis.

On March 18, the Destination Imagination team competed in the state competition at Atlee High School and placed third overall in the competition. Members of the team include seniors Abigail Brooks and Garret Stillwell, junior Malia Fitz, sophomore Lezley Slagle, and freshman Liam Stillwell.

Food for Thought, the school’s nonprofit food drive program, sponsored a driveby food drive to hand out food for spring break. In total, 25 boxes of food were packaged and handed out; these boxes included four meals to last over spring break. Food packaged in these boxes included items to make tacos, vegetable cans, pasta and sauce, and fruit.
