The first meeting of New Monmouth Presbyterian Church’s confirmation class takes place this Monday at 5:30 p.m. The next meeting will be Monday, May 1, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The session of New Monmouth met for their monthly meeting Sunday after church. Thanks to Sarah Burleson for providing lunch! Plans are underway for this year’s Bible school week. There will be a meeting on Wednesday at 5:45 at church to update and share ideas for VBS.
Thanks to everyone who helped with Easter morning festivities. We had a great morning of worship, beginning with sunrise service on Hotinger Hill. Thank you to the praise team (Tim Hodges, Karen Duff, Vicki Hodges, and the Clarks) for leading the music. The morning on the hill was quite chilly, but the food and coffee that awaited us at the church were warm and comforting! Thank you to everyone who provided the delicious food. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt on the church lawn after breakfast. And a huge thank you to Laura Hotinger and Dianne Swink, along with the choirs, for providing wonderful music for the church service.
