This Saturday is the day and 710 McCulloch St., the Glasgow First Aid building, is the place where the rabies clinic will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. This drive-thru clinic is $10 cash only for dogs and cats. The Natural Bridge Animal Hospital will be conducting the clinic and all proceeds go to the Glasgow First Aid.

Later that day at 6 p.m., the first aid crew will hold a cakewalk fundraiser. They would appreciate it if the town citizens would donate lots of cakes for this event, and attend. They are there for us when we need them; let’s be there to help them raise funds to purchase needed equipment to serve the community.

Blueridge Cider Doughnuts will be on hand for the Craft and Bakers Event at the Farmers Market May 6. Lots of baked goods, crafts, etc., will be available. Come out and support your local farmers market, find some delicious foods and purchase a gift or two.
