An Agri-Culture Expo is being held on Earth Day this Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Virginia Innovation Accelerator in the former Mundet-Hermetite factory building at 245 W. 21st St. in Buena Vista.
The Advancement Foundation, which owns and operates the VIA, is hosting this community event “to educate, excite and ignite the desire for agri-business, recycling, sustainability, small business growth and community development in Rockbridge County and the surrounding area,” said a spokesperson.
The expo will feature educational workshops, handson activities for children, an innovation garden, local businesses, clubs and organizations, food trucks, local beer and wine vendors, live music and tours of the VIA facility.
