The 46th annual Lexington Road and River Relay will take place on Saturday, May 6, starting at 10 a.m.
The 16.1-mile four-part race consists of a 3.5-mile run from the Rockbridge Regional Library to Beans Bottom, a 9.1-mile bicycle ride on paved, hilly roads; a 2.2mile canoe/kayak section from Beans Bottom to Jordans Point, and then a 1.3-mile loop that goes on the Woods Creek Trail and starts and ends at Jordans Point. After the race, an awards ceremony will take place at Jordans Point.
