Plant Sale Prep

Five garden clubs are getting ready for the annual County Council plant sale at Hopkins Green in downtown Lexington on Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. Hundreds of plants and garden-related items will be offered. Proceeds go to fund downtown hanging baskets and other charitable projects of the member clubs. Here, Maureen Becker examines a sampling of plant-laden gift baskets new to the sale this year.
