KURT CHITTUM

Kurt Eugene Chittum, 62, of Buena Vista died Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home.

Born May 30, 1960 in Lexington, he was a son of Lorene Mae Swisher Chittum and Herbert Eugene Chittum.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary “Cokey” Chittum.

Surviving are Paula A. Chittum; two sons, Anthony Chittum and Gary Elswick; two daughters, Jacqueline Walters and Amanda Dudley; six grandsons, Christopher Walters, Alex Chittum Jr., Zaedon Dudley, Kielan Dudley, Jordan Elswick and Jeremiah Elswick; three granddaughters, Kaeli Crandall, Trinity Walters and Aleeyah Elswick; three brothers, Larry Chittum, Michael Chittum and Anthony Chittum; one sister, Delilah Jamerson; mother-inlaw Shelia Rockburn; and father- in-law Rocky Rockburn.

An interment will be private at a later date. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 26, at Harrison Funeral Home.
