Pauline H. Johnson (nee Hostetter), 95, a resident of Heritage Hall, died April 28, 2023.
She was born in Lexington on Aug. 2, 1927, the daughter of Claude and Ethel (Knick) Hostetter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Johnson, and her brother, Kenneth Hostetter.
Pauline was born in Lexington, and spent her entire life there. She graduated from Lexington High School, and was employed at Virginia Military Institute as an accountant for more than 30 years. She was a lifelong member of the Lauderdale A.R. Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
Pauline is survived by her son, Donnie Lee Johnson; four granddaughters, four great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private.
