Online School Offers High School Diploma, Certificate

Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington will host an online and in-person information session for Career Online High School (COHS) on Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for potential students age 20 and older who have successfully completed eighth grade.

Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington will host an online and in-person information session for Career Online High School (COHS) on Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for potential students age 20 and older who have successfully completed eighth grade.

Through a partnership with the Library of Virginia and Career Online High School, Rockbridge Regional Library System card holders can apply for a full scholarship to complete high school and graduate with both their diploma and a career certificate.

COHS is completely online and can be accessed from a cell phone, tablet, laptop, or computer. Students will have a dedicated academic coach, certified instructors, technical help, and career guidance, and on average, graduate in 12 to 14 months. Students can transfer credit from past schools, the GED, or the HiSET to graduate faster.
