Franklin DeWayne Camden, 61, of Lexington died June 12

Franklin DeWayne Camden, 61, of Lexington died Monday, June 12, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 23, 1962, in Lexington, he was a son of Peggy Belinda Smith Camden and the late Franklin Delano "Skipper"  Camden.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Franklin "Bubba" Camden Jr., and brother, Greg Camden.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Kasey Burch (Carl), Seth Camden, and Erika Camden; sisters, Rhonda Hamilton (Troy) and Belinda Tomlin (Philip); grandchildren, Michaela McDaniels, Jared Odgen, Ashton Dumford, Chloe Camden, Michael Camden, Hayden Camden and Makenzie Camden; very special friend, Denise Camden; and his dogs Daquan and Copper.

A memorial service will follow at a later date.
