At Faith Baptist Church there will be a Men’s Prayer Breakfast on June 21 at 8 a.m.

This Saturday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be an open house event at Thunder BRidge. Owners and hosts James, Karen and Adam Pannabecker will open the grounds to the public for tours. All of its 100 acres, including most of the 30-some buildings, will be open. Visitors may explore the forest campground, now open to the public through HipCamp.com. The Hewitt Jamaican Food Truck and Lemon Lime Brothers Lemonade Truck will sell lunches and drinks. See separate articles for more details.

Special thanks goes out to the good Samaritan that stopped alongside Wert Faulkner Highway near Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship last Friday evening to safely remove a large snapping turtle attempting to cross the bridge over the southern end of Stoner Hollow Road and Crawford Creek.
