Please remember High Bridge Presbyterian Church worship services begin at 10 a.m. each Sunday through August. Deacons are providing lemonade on the lawn after worship, weather permitting.
Guest speaker June 18 will be Linda Trumbo of Covington.
Donna Lotts, children’s ministry director, will be hosting a “School’s Out” Bash on June 25, with lunch, ice cream and water activities immediately after worship. Bring extra clothes or a swimsuit, and a towel. Plans are underway for vacation Bible school to be held at Cave Mountain Lake on Saturday, July 29, from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you would like to help, please let Donna know.
Small group Bible study led by Joe Hawes will be on Thursday, June 29, but the week before, on June 22, everyone is invited to our church pavilion for a hootenanny — a musically fun time. This name was given by organizer Joe Hawes. All this takes place at 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 9, our Fourth of July celebration will be held at the High Bridge church pavilion immediately after worship. Unfortunately, Col. John Brody will be unable to attend this year but Donna Armentrout, our pianist, will provide themed music to honor our military.
The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open Thursday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.
