Please remember worship services at High Bridge Presbyterian Church will begin at 10 a.m. each Sunday through the end of August. Deacons are providing Lemonade on the Lawn after worship, weather permitting.
Guest speaker June 25 will be Randy Smith. Donna Lotts, children’s ministry director, will be hosting a School’s Out Bash on June 25, with lunch, ice cream, and water activities immediately after worship. Bring extra clothes or a swimsuit, and a towel. Plans are underway for Vacation Bible School to be held at Cave Mountain Lake on Saturday, July 29, from 9:45 to 3:30. The Hootenanny – a musically fun time and surprises ‒ is scheduled this Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m. at our church pavilion by organizer Joe Hawes. The next week, June 29, Small Group meets for Bible Study led by Joe Hawes, also at 7 p.m.
The Presbyterian Women’s Coordinating Team will meet under the leadership of Moderator Carol Tolley Sunday, June 25, after worship service. Officers will present requests for next quarter.
Sunday, July 9, our Fourth of July celebration will be held out our church pavilion immediately after worship. Unfortunately, Col. John Brodie will be unable to attend this year but Donna Armentrout, our pianist, will provide themed music to honor our military. Guest minister that Sunday will be W.D. Hasty.
Since 1988, Bob and Jean Tolley Bourne family have met at the Lloyd and Bettie Tolley homeplace in Natural Bridge Station for an early Sunday morning worship service the first Sunday of June. Families from Georgia, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas continue to gather for this service in honor of the late Bob and Jean Tolley Bourne.
The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open Saturday, June 24, from 9 to 11 a.m.
