On Sunday, June 18, Pastor Greg Gertz was the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. His sermon was entitled “How to be a Proactive Dad.” During the children’s time for discovery led by Rosalea Potter, a video prepared by the fathers in the congregation was shown. The ages of those speaking spanned five decades. The men shared what they thought were the greatest things about being a dad and how fatherhood had enriched their lives. Following the worship service lemonade and cookies were provided by the Worship Committee and enjoyed by all on the church’s front lawn.
