Happy birthday wishes are being sent to Bential Groah, Keith Fields, Holton Landes, Becky Hite, Joyce Ralston and Buddy Waymack. Happy anniversary wishes go out to Gary and Lanny Price and Kevin and Tonya Phillips. Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Daniel Cook, Leroy Tomes, Naomi Clark Nuckols, Lillie Bowers Fitzgerald, Donald Firebaugh, and Eugene Mullenax Reports are in and once again the Raphine Volunteer Fire Company’s carnival was a huge success this year. As many of you know the company was instrumental in locating the airplane that crashed near Montebello.

I ask for better health prayers for Joe Campbell, “Eddie Buck” Humphries, and myself. I have been sick for two weeks. This is why there hasn’t been an article. But I was able to get myself to my doctor this week. I want to thank all that brought food, drinks and medication and other things that I wasn’t able to go out and get. It has been a slow road but I am better than I was but still have a ways to go.

I pray we get some of the rain they are calling for this week as it is very dry.
