SHARON COFFEY

Sharon Eakin Coffey, 70, of Buena Vista, gained her angel wings on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

Born April 12, 1953, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late John Eakin and Madeline Overstreet Eakin.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thurman L. Coffey Jr., and sister, Sherry Sorrels.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle C. Martin (Keith) and Danielle Floyd (Jamie); four grandchildren, Kole Martin (Paige), Skyler Floyd (Malcolm), Kaleb Floyd and Kade Martin (Lexi); sister, Jane Patterson Bayne; brother, Eddie Patterson (Carol); and many loving friends, Brittany and Cottie Clark, Emilie Staton, Tunisha Carter, Austin Moore, Lance Fitzgerald (Jaden Harrison); and special dog, Josie.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at the Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene, 906 Magnolia Ave., Buena Vista, by Pastor Scott Beattie.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
