On Sunday, June 25, the Rev. Malcolm Brownlee was the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. Following the worship service lemonade on the lawn was provided by the Worship Committee and enjoyed by all on the church’s front lawn. The Witness & Congregational Care Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, June 29, in the church’s fellowship hall.

The Effinger Volunteer Fire Department will hold its first barbecue sales event of the summer on Saturday, July 15, beginning at noon. The firehouse‘

that day, too.

The Rockbridge Regional Library’s bookmobile continues to visit the grounds of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church each Wednesday from 2:15 to 4 p.m. except for the fourth Wednesday of each month. It will return on July 5.
