Mountain Gateway Community College’s local board is currently accepting nominations for the annual Medallion of Merit Award.
Established in 1979, the Medallion of Merit recognizes individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to the betterment of life to the world, nation, commonwealth, region or MGCC’s service area.
Examples of those who may receive this award include individuals or organizations that have achieved success, assumed leadership and supported their communities in various ways – all reflecting the purpose of MGCC.
Nominations can be made at https:// www.surveymonkey.com/r/X3Y38T5, or applications can be picked up in the president’s office in Backels Hall on the Clifton Forge campus. The deadline for nominations is Monday, July 10, at 5 pm.
