Immersion At Farmers Market

At the Lexington Farmers Market on Wednesday, June 28, Michelle Wells of Hearthstone Farm in Fairfield interacts with students from the Virginia Governor’s World Language Academies at Washington and Lee University. The Virginia high school students are taking part in a three-week full-language immersion program in which they are allowed to speak only one of three languages – Spanish, French or German.
