Steve Bolster, former director of fiscal services for Rockbridge County, has taken a job as a regional planner for the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission.
Bolster, who held his job in Rockbridge County for 10 years, was hired last year to become the business manager for the Central Shenandoah Health District. He began his new job with the CSPDC on May 22.
Originally from Los Angelos, Calif., Bolster is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He moved to the Rockbridge area in 2006, where he served five years as an ROTC instructor at Virginia Military Institute. He and his wife Tammy continue to live in Rockbridge County.
