Happy Independence Day to everyone! Thanks to the guest speaker at High Bridge Presbyterian Church last Sunday, Linda Trumbo of Covington.

Plans are underway for vacation Bible school to be held at Cave Mountain Lake on Saturday, July 29, from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you would like to help, please let Donna know.

On Sunday, July 9, the July 4th celebration will be held at the church pavilion immediately after worship (in case of rain the fellowship hall). Unfortunately, Col. John Brody will be unable to attend this year but Donna Armentrout, the church’s pianist, will provide themed music to honor our military. Guest minister that Sunday will be W.D. Hasty, who will administer communion during the service. Bring a side dish — hot dogs and drinks will be furnished after church.

Circle groups will not be meeting in July.

The Natural Bridge/ Glasgow Food Pantry will be open Saturday, July 8, from 9 to 11 a.m.
