ROY LINEBERRY

Roy Dail Lineberry, 59, of Bassett, formerly of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Born Nov. 11, 1963, in Lexington, he was the son of Roy Jesse Lineberry and Edna Frances Pyron Lineberry.

Roy was with Virginia Department of Corrections for eight years, City of Martinsville Sheriff’s Office for five years and as a deputy sheriff with Henry County Sheriff’s Office for two years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Tiffany Lineberry, and two siblings.

Surviving are his wife, Paula Marlin; children, Shannon Lineberry (Missy), Jesse Lineberry (Tori), Christopher Lineberry (Brooklyn) and Emmaleigh Lineberry; stepson, T. J. Dillon; three grandchildren, Evelyn, Georgia, and Cole; and six siblings.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 5, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Brad Wilson. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
