Mark Kevin Farrish, 57, of Lexington died July 6

Mark Kevin Farrish, 57, of Lexington died Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his home.

Born Feb. 4, 1966, in Charlottesville, he was a son of Elleanor Quann Farrish and the late William Peyton Farrish.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Plogger Farrish.

He retired from Rockbridge Regional Jail as a correctional officer.

Surviving are his children, Michael Cody Farrish and Darby B. Farrish; stepchildren, Michael B. Smith and Jeremy Ryan Smith; step-grandchildren, Zoey Smith, Lilly Smith and Khol Smith; and lots of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, at Harrison Funeral Home with Mike Dorsey officiating. Burial will be private at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.
