Sunday, July 16, the speaker will be Linda Trumbo of Covington.

The hootenanny which was canceled last month has been rescheduled for July 20. Special musical guest will be by retired Rev. Marina Gopadze.

Plans are underway for vacation Bible school to be held at Cave Mountain Lake on Saturday, July 29, from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Director Donna Lotts is asking for volunteers to help. The theme will be announced later.

Spending a week at Lake Anna were Kathy Gilbert and granddaughters Cora, Everly and Kinsley Myers who were there for a reunion with Kathy’s mother Jane and extended family members. They were joined later in the week by Bob Gilbert and Brad Myers.

Jason Hannah, wife Hanna, and children Ben, Katy and Tucker of Grand Rapids, Mich., spent last week with Scott and Becky Hannah. On their return trip, they were accompanied by nephew Aaron Black.

The Natural Bridge/ Glasgow food pantry will be open Saturday, July 15, from 9 to 11 a.m.
