A Buena Vista native has been honored by CHG Healthcare as a 2022 winner of the Top Women in Healthcare Staffing award.
Holli Bazzle McConnell of Virginia Beach was one of just 11 winners selected by the CHG Healthcare’s family of brands for national recognition as “influential, dedicated, and highly respected women within their organizations and in the healthcare industry.”
McConnell has worked at Sentara Health Care for seven years as a physician recruitment/ retention manager and now is the executive director of Provider Recruitment & Onboarding. Her office is located in Norfolk.
“Holli exemplifies excellence in everything she does,” according to the award announcement. “Holli has navigated a large system in challenging times very eloquently and strategically. Holli has also developed a solid team that has gained much respect within the recruitment industry. She brings a positive outlook to all situations and faces challenges head on as an opportunity to grow and improve. Holli has played a pivotal role in the success of Sentara Healthcare and the hundreds of physicians placed within the organization.”
McConnell is the daughter of Hugh Bazzle and Nancy Irons and is a graduate of Parry Mc-Cluer High School and has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from James Madison University.
