July 17, 2023 Editor, The News-Gazette: We want to inform everyone of one of the best things to happen to Rockbridge County. We now have mobile health units that come to serve us in our home towns. I have been to the dental unit several times and was impressed by the professional staff working these units.
The reason for this notice is to let people know that we may lose this benefit just because people schedule appointments and then don’t call to cancel or keep canceling appointments. There is no reason for this because everyone has access to a phone. This is common courtesy and would help people that are in need of these services.
This is a great service and we may lose it just because of all of the patients who are not keeping their scheduled appointments. RAHC mobile providers are our heroes. Please, everyone, let’s pull together as a community and do our best to keep these services available to those of us who really need and appreciate them. BOB and BEVERLY FLOYD Goshen
