Sherrie Lynn Lineberry Agnor, 56, of Buena Vista passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. Born June 16, 1967, in Lexington, she was a daughter of Marion Allen Lineberry and Franklin Lineberry.

Sherrie Lynn Lineberry Agnor, 56, of Buena Vista passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. Born June 16, 1967, in Lexington, she was a daughter of Marion Allen Lineberry and Franklin Lineberry.

Sherrie was employed as a corrections officer with over 21 years of service. She will be remembered at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for the many items she collected and distributed to the children with cancer. She was an avid basketball player, No. 11 at Parry McCluer High School. Sherrie was also a softball player, loved University of Virginia sports, the Redskins, and playing cornhole.

In addition to her father, Sherrie was also preceded in death by sister, Debbie Bartley; brothers, David Lineberry Sr, and Roy Dale Lineberry; and beloved pet, Rookie.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughter, Jessica Agnor Long (Steve); brothers, Danny Lineberry (Tammy), Dennis Lineberry (Carolyn), Dean Lineberry (Tina), Keith Lineberry and Donnie Allen (Cindy); life partner of 31 years, Brenda “Bird” Ford; childhood friend, Lisa Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. W. David Bain. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
