1) Special Exception to reduce the minimum required street frontage for a residential lot, Tax maps 52-1-40-13 and 15, 200 block of Poplar Ave.

The Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers located in the Municipal Building located at 2039 Sycamore Avenue in Buena Vista at approximately 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2nd 2023. CITY OF LEXINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW AN APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE FIRST FLOOR OF AN EXISTING BUILDING AT 221 S. MAIN STREET TO BE USED AS A RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT

A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington Planning Commission at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by Sarah Dudley. APPLICATIONS OF MAXMARK HOMES LLC AND WEATHERBURN HOLDINGS LLC PROPOSING THE ADJUSTMENT OF BOUNDARY LINES FOR 21, 23 & 25 CHAMBERLAIN LOOP (TAX PARCELS #39-1-1-22, #39-1-1-21, 39-1-6 & #39-1-120) AND THE AMENDMENT TO THE WEATHERBURN PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF THORNHILL ROAD AND CHAMBERLAIN LOOP IN LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA.

A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council at a meeting to begin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to applications by MaxMark Homes LLC and Weatherburn Holdings LLC. Application number PS 2023-04 requests the application of a preliminary subdivision plat (boundary line adjustments & vacation) to vacate Tax Parcel #391-1-21 and to adjust the boundary lines for Tax Parcels #39-1-1-22, #39-1-1-20, and the adjacent open space (Tax Parcel #39-1-6). Application number PUD 2023-01 is a request to amend the Weatherburn Planned Unit Development to allow for the boundary line adjustments and vacations proposed in application PS 2023-04.

Pursuant to Code of Virginia Section 15.2-2204 and the City of Buena Vista Land Development Regulations, notice is given that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the following matters.

1) Zoning Text Amendment for the Institutional Zone to update various uses.

The Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers located in the Municipal Building located at 2039 Sycamore Avenue in Buena Vista during the regular monthly Planning Commission meeting at approximately 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 8th 2023.
